Wreath care
On arrival. Unbox it and hang it. No water, no trimming, no vase. Magnolia is meant to dry on its own, and adding water works against it.
Where to hang it. A covered front door, a porch, or anywhere indoors. Direct sun and heavy rain will speed the color change and can make leaves brittle, so a spot with some cover holds its look longest.
As it dries. Leaves will curl slightly and deepen to copper over a few weeks. That's normal and it's the point. A few leaves may drop as it sets, so shake it gently outdoors before you hang it, and again if it travels.
